Family Promise of Berks County, Inc. is an Interfaith Hospitality Network and is affiliated with the national Family Promise organization. We opened our doors to serve homeless families in July 2006. Our program is unique in that we keep family units together. In an average week, we serve 3 families, providing 168 meals and 84 bed nights. Approximately 35 volunteers spend 274 hours providing these services and spending time with our guest families. To date, 54 families have been asisted.
